Unsolicited Applications

The SGMS provides a space to publish résumés of applicants. If you are looking for a job and want to make this known here, please contact Bertran Gerrits. Applications will be removed after a maximum period of two months.
The Division of Analytical Sciences of the Swiss Chemical Society has a link to this page.

You may also want to check VRS for MS positions predominantly in the UK, and MSpeople.net for international (mostly USA) job openings in the field of mass spectrometry.

I am about to conclude my PhD at the Department of Antigen design of the GSK Vaccines based in Siena, in collaboration with the University of Bologna. My PhD project aimed at investigating the peptide/glycopeptide interaction for a rational design of glycoconjugate vaccines by using a proteomic and glycoproteomic approach. This research period provides me in-depth knowledge and experience in glycoconjugate synthesis, protein expression, purification, and characterization (e.g. UPLC, differential scanning calorimetry); extensive familiarity in qualitative and quantitative HPLC, MALDI-TOF, ESI-qTOF and triple quadrupole LC-MS mass spectrometry for proteomic and glycoproteomic analysis. I also developed solid experiences in the use of hydrogen deuterium exchange with mass spectrometry for studying protein dynamics, conformations, and interactions

Please find attached my curriculum vitae and referee contacts. I would be more than happy to apply for and discuss with you about possible eventual opportunities and I hope you will consider me if you are aware of some specific roles for which you think I am suitable.

Many thanks for your attention, I look forward to hearing from you.
